This letter is in reference to my time spent with Jim Fronapfel. During the past year and a half Jim and I have worked together at 24 hour fitness rehabbing an injury he had sustained years prior. With his incredible work ethic and passion, our relationship quickly grew into a strong friendship. At this time I had only been out of school for about two years and was struggling to decide where to go next. Conveniently, Jim was starting his education as a Life coach and our conversations quickly switched to deep, compassionate dialogue filled with in site of not only experience, but his growing level of education as it related to aiding my transitional period. We began meeting for conversations outside of the gym and the true change started to begin. My goals in life have always been directed towards giving back and making a change that will stay for generations to come. I now had the insight needed to focus on how to grow my career, relationships, network, family connection, and friendships through a very analytical process. From my time with Jim, I now have the connections I could only have dream of. My career has also shifted, creating a return for a second masters a top priority. Without Jim’s help I may not have had the courage to take the next step in my future. Jim will be extremely successful with his time as a life coach because of his devotion, compassion, and most of all his drive to help other achieve what they couldn’t on their own. I have the upmost respect for this man, recommending his services to anyone looking for direction. Personally my life is amazing now, and I have Jim to thank for that.
Regards
Matt Christensen
Jim began working with me in April of 2015. The first meeting was actually by email, I had to answer a list of questions explaining what I wanted to accomplish in my life. I am a highly motivated person, so of course I made a very lengthy laundry list that included spending more time with my daughter, an aspiring artist/actress, who is 10 going on 18, earning more money (ie. 6 figures), getting out of a crushing $189,000 in student debt, getting out of personal credit card and loan debt of almost $30,000, buying a house with land in the mountains of Colorado (which doesn’t come cheap), buying horses, goats, alpaca and chickens (the cheapest are the chickens and it all goes up from there!), becoming self-employed doing something I love which happens to be a slew of different things (sewing, spinning, weaving, millenary, yoga, real estate investment, working with horses, running a non-profit to assist PTSD sufferers and disadvantaged youth) and starting a non-profit as well.
It took a while because of my hectic schedule and long workdays, but Jim helped me to focus (it is so hard with A.D.D.). He also talked to me on numerous occasions about viewing money differently. He gave me affirmations about money that I still really have trouble believing, but despite my stubbornness when it comes to believing that wishing for things will make them come true, I did experience a shift. This shift led me to consider getting a new job making more money and getting out of a bad situation at work where my moral and family values and those of company leadership do not align in any way. I also currently rely on child support, without it I will lose my apartment, but I finally decided, if I am making as much money as my ex-husband, I won’t need the child support, so why not go for it? My student loan payments increase as my income increases, but with Jim’s help I have come to the realization that if I am making more money then I’ll be able to handle the loan payments as well as my personal debts much better.
I am currently looking for a new job and working on growing my craft business. While attending classes to help me with my small business, I have also made connections with people who have offered to help me teach weaving and spinning to kids if I decide to start a non-profit.
As a result of working with Jim and successfully changing my thought patterns surrounding money and wealth, I took it upon myself to meet with a wealth manager who went to my Alma Mater. He has given me advice on my current financial situation and has pushed me to find a way to get out of debt completely in the next two years (I have lived paycheck to paycheck since I was 17, so after 18 years it is a hard cycle to break). He has also encouraged me to start building a savings account of at least two months’ worth of earnings (something I know I should have, but never manage to build since every time I save $500 the auto mechanic gets it) and to build a retirement account (which right now could not even get me through two months of unemployment) which I have never taken seriously (I am always finding a reason to borrow from it).
Before Jim offered to help me I was extremely stressed out. I would crunch numbers on a daily basis trying to find a way to get out of debt without finding any real solutions and becoming more and more depressed. Jim did not give me a winning lottery ticket, but he did help me view my situation from another perspective. I have a tendency to get hung up on with a “this is the only way and it is just going to be painful” perspective, so working with Jim has been a tremendous help to me and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a professional, non-judgmental friend to give him/her a new perspective on life and career goals.
Sincerely,
Tabby
